Wolf-Tribes-of-Ahki:
Ahote played by Snow909
Zara played by FloatyPotato
______________
AHOTE
With swift movement Ahote slipped silently through the trees, on the bloody trail of his victim.
Perhaps the coyote had been innocent, and yet Ahote was growing restless, and it had only but come near for a scrap of food to steal. Thus the smaller canid had learned that he had picked the wrong wolf.
It was a vain chase. Ahote had drawn blood and the coyote had fled, then leaving a clear trail for the silver male.
ZARA
Zara made her quietly along the Zhawan border. There was too much ok her mind today.. And for a strange reason she walked towards Nawayee, though not without a quick glance through Zhawan. They'd been quiet too long for comfort..
And indeed she fell upon something quite interesting, gaining her full attention with its metallic scent.
Blood.
She stopped, staring at the drops of it on the ground. Was someone hurt? Lowering her head she sniffed the small puddles. Coyote..
Looking around thoughtfully she made up her mind to follow the trail, her steps quick and light as Zara made sure to keep alert and guarded as she walked.
AHOTE
Ahote paused as he thought he heard a sound ahead.. He grinned. He wasn't far. His pace quickening, he rounded a corner of stone, rainwater that had pooled in the grass touching his paws. A grey-brown form lay limp on the ground.
His grin fading, Ahote approached it, flicking it over with his muzzle, lips peeling back in a snarl of disgust. The coyote must have run himself too hard with his wounds... Damnit!
Ahote's thoughts were interrupted as a scent hit him, reminding him that he was in the Neutral Grounds. He turned sharply, recognizing the pungent scent of Spokane, ears flicking back in annoyance.
ZARA
The grass grew moist as the ground started to dip beneath her paws as Zara quietly, cautiously followed the trail of blood. Of death.
The she-wolf walked quietly, pausing to glance around as she reached a small rocky formation. The scent of Zhawan was strong, maybe she–
Zara's thoughts as long as her paws were stopped short as a silver male, much bigger than her, stood over the limps carcass of a coyote, it's blood on his fur. She took a startled step back. Her green eyes flashed as her lips twitched.
"Did.. Did you kill it?" She mumbled shakily, eyes still fixed on the limp form, slumped to the ground like a doll
AHOTE
Ahote looked the stranger up and down as she spoke. "Of course I did." He growled, teeth flashing as he stepped protectively over his kill.
If this Spokane wanted to snatch it, he had no intention on letting that happen.
ZARA
Zara watched wordlessly as the male said that he had killed it. Her ears laid back against her head, anger flitting briefly across her eyes as he stood protectively over the carcass.
"I'm not going to take it. Though I'm tempted to, to take it and give it a proper burial so it can rest in peace. You've spilled innocent blood!" She accused, her voice quivering. Khay, that blind coywolf passed through her mind.. This–This Zhawan brute had killed an innocent soul..
AHOTE
Ahote snorted in disgust in reply to the Spokane female's words.
"Innocent?" He sneered, eyes sparkling. "None of them are innocent. They're all threats to a tribe, trying to take away precious food and killing pups. This one was no exception, dear." A small smirk twitched his lips, however. Spokane wolves.. So soft!
He grabbed the carcass in his mouth.
"But," his cold voice pricked as he walked over to her. "I suppose, if you care so much for it." He tossed it at her paws, a change of mind flickering.
"You have permission from the Halzid to despose of it."
ZARA
Zara's brow furrowed in a glare at the male's words. How dare he!
"I beg to differ." She said coldly. "He was much more innocent than you, I'm sure." She added stiffly. "And some are different than others, mind you."
The Watashi stiffened as the limp body was tossed to her feet. She stared at it, it's agape jaw and black eyes glazed as it stared into nothing. Her eyes shot up in a more savage glare as a growl came from her throat. Halzid.. This brute had no right to have such a rank.
"I don't need permission from a Zhawan." She replied savagely. "Sir."
AHOTE
"More innocent? Hmm.. Perhaps you're right dear." The Halzid mused with a chuckle, tail flicking.
Ahote's smirk disappeared at her words. His lips twitched as a growl came from him.
"I'm afraid your wrong about that." He replied venomously. "You're not in Spokane right now, miss. And I suggest you learn to pay the right respect. Because past these borders, things are quite different. Death is the penalty." He sneered, gold eyes watching like a cobra about to strike.
ZARA
Zara stared at the male in disgust.
"And I suggest that you learn, sir, that you have to earn the due respect." She snorted. "Of course thing go differently past that border. It's the house of fools and phsycopaths like yourself." She smirked with a shrug. Zhawan's truly were the same... She paused. At least the majority was.. Agahzi, he had seemed to actually hold respect for others. Much more than this excuse of a wolf.
AHOTE
Her words only kindled the fire as Ahote listened in annoyance. His teeth flashed in a snarl as he lunged at the female in a sudden burst, not caring if he drew more blood or not. He glare at the disgrace he saw before him with icy hatred.
"Get out."
ZARA
Honest to say, Zara wasn't as much expecting the lunge as she should have. And yet somehow she managed to duck in time to miss the blow that could have left a possible scar. She bit her tongue to hold back a snarl.. She couldn't instigate a fight like her encounter with Renora..
Taking a swift step back she growled, head low and teeth bared as she glared at the brute before, turning sharply, heart pounding like a drum against her chest, she ran. She couldn't stay any longer.. Not with that physo no. She shook her head, coming to a stop as she glanced behind her back. She hoped not to meet that one again.. Who knew what would happen.
AHOTE
AHOTE watched in evil amusement, a perhaps insane sounding laugh coming from his chest as he watched her run.
"Run little girl," he sneered, a wicked grin on his face. "But don't come back."
Pathetic wolf...

Garry kept fiddling with a loose thread on his leather jacket. Laura had warned that she’d be late. She always ran late for everything. It was a social anxiety trait she got from her mother. Garry still worried, though. He looked down at his watch, then flipped open his phone to see if he had missed a call or a text message. That’s when she snuck up on him.
“Oh goodness. You scared me, Laura,” Garry said while clutching his hand over his chest. Laura’s face broke into the smile that he loved so much from her pictures.
“Garry, it’s so good to finally see you in person,” she said,

I find it quite reasonable
To aspire to more than reality
Everyday is a blank canvas
Why limit the fantastic?
I see you years from now
A glow with renewing confidence

And nothing is more satisfying

A shade of depth is added
Moments engraved in your soul
Whether you remember it all
Or let the sand slip away
You are what you are
